Although all of our swimbaits are designed to catch fish without any added scents/bait it is highly encouraged to spice them up a little for a better catch. This can be done simply by using a small amount of magic thread and securing a small fillet of bait fish to the flat side of the rig as seen in the picture.
Choosing the right rig for the job can be a little daunting. As a general rule of thumb when fishing for bottom fish brighter colors work better on sunny days as they catch the light and darker colors on overcast days because they strike darker silhouettes. Glow colors added to baits at depths over 100' can also bring extra attention.
